Allergies can also be caused by sulfide or salicylates in food and drug , food flavoring , preservatives , and synthetic dyes . Food allergy affects approximately 3-10 % of children . In some babies , it is because the protein can not be digested optimally due to the activity of digestive enzymes are not fully developed .

What causes allergies ? Our body is protected by the immune system , produce a type of protein called antibodies . These antibodies can also cause allergic reactions . The first time you eat food allergens , the immune system produces immunoglobulin E ( IgE ) . IgE acts as a molecular marker of food allergens. When eating food again , the body will secrete IgE antibodies and other chemicals , including histamine to repel " enemy " of the body . In response , allergy symptoms ensued .

Two Steps Prevent Heart Disease

Until recently, the World Health Organization (WHO) is still putting cardiovascular disease, such as coronary heart disease, stroke, and hypertension as well as the number one cause of death.

So that we can avoid the disease that continues to take the lives, living a healthy lifestyle become obligatory. One of the things we can do to ensure a healthy heart organ is always keeping blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

Researchers from the Medical University of South Carolina found that patients with hypertension have their blood pressure levels or cholesterol alone, the risk of having a heart attack only dropped to 20 percent and 35 percent.

Different result if a patient is hypertensive trying to keep blood pressure and cholesterol levels remained normal. Reduced risk of heart attack by more than 50 percent.

High blood pressure damages the lining of blood vessels so easily absorbed into cholesterol. However, if you keep both of these factors, you will limit the amount of cholesterol that can be entered at the same time protecting the arterial damage.

"Alcohol is actually a cancer-causing agent but not so obvious because people do not realize it," said Dr.David Nelson, director of the Cancer Prevention Fellowship Program.
People who frequently consume alcohol at high risk of cancer. Yet there is no safe limit for alcohol use, including people who drink moderate amounts that have been considered beneficial for the heart.
"We recommend that people understand they are at risk of cancer begins to reduce alcohol consumption. The fewer, the lower the risk," said Nelson.

To determine the link between drinking alcohol and cancer, Nelson and his team collected data from various sources, including national surveys of alcohol use.
In addition to breast cancer in women, cancer of the mouth, throat and esophagus is a type of cancer associated with alcohol consumption in men. Each year recorded 6000 deaths from cancer.
Previous studies have shown that the hobby of drinking alcohol are risk factors for cancer of the mouth, throat, esophagus, liver, colon, rectum, and breast cancer in women.
According to experts from the American Cancer Society, not entirely clear how alcohol increases the risk of cancer.

Alcohol is believed to act as a chemical irritant to sensitive cells and triggers DNA damage. Besides alcohol also acts as a solvent for other carcinogens, such as those found in cigarettes, so the carcinogens that can enter cells more easily. Alcohol is also thought to affect important hormones, such as estrogen thus increasing the risk of breast cancer.
"If you do not drink alcohol, do not start. However if you are a drinker, start limit," he said.
